  1. Thoroughly delightful interview! I met Gar briefly at the 2019 Saints and Sinners Book Festival, and this year each of us had a short story chosen for the S&S 2020 anthology. I appreciated Gar’s insights in this interview, his warmth and sense of humor. Loved that he said “Queerness is always present” when asked about his work. Most enjoyable.
